We want you to love your car, which is why we give you 14 days to drive it and get a real feel for it, when you buy online at Ken Brown. If you decide you want to return your car within the first 14 days, let us know and we’ll give you a full refund. Obviously there are terms and conditions as listed below.
Online Purchase 14 Day Money Back Guarantee Terms and Conditions
Available for online sales only. You have 14 days after your delivery or collection date to request a full refund. You must contact us by 4pm, Monday to Friday only.
We can’t accept a return if the car has been modified or altered from the condition it was received in.
If you drive the car over the 250 mile limit during the first 14 days, every additional mile will cost £1 per mile and we may not be able to accept the car as a return.
If the car has been in an accident or is damaged, we may not be able to accept the car as a return and there may be charges for damage.
You are liable for any parking fines, congestion charges and all other fines/penalties while the vehicle is in your possession.
Refund Process
On collection of the car, we’ll check it over and agree if it’s good to return. Then the refund process will be activated.
The refund will need to happen using the same original payment method and will include any charges for damage or mileage beyond the 250 mile limit.
The refund will only be processed once we have your signed V5. Once all this is confirmed, your money will be back in your account within 5 working days.
Part-Exchanged vehicle
If you decide to return your car within the 14-Day Money Back Guarantee period, we will return your old car to you and any balance due to , however we may not be able to give you your old car back as it might of already been disposed in which case we will give you back the cash equivalent via bank transfer. We will also do our very best to help you find an alternative car to buy from Ken Brown Group.
Collection if you return your car
Collection is free within the first 14 days. If you’d like to return your car within the 14-Day Money Back Guarantee period, you’ll need to contact us to book a pick up within 14 days of your delivery or collection. The pick up will need to take place within 21 days of when you received the car.
If you don't book within 14 days of your delivery or collection date, or the car isn’t picked up within 21 days of delivery or collection, you won’t be eligible for the 14-Day Money Back Guarantee.
You can book your return by calling the Ken Brown dealership of purchase.
If you had your car delivered, we’ll need to pick it up at the same address. We'll also collect your V5C log book at the same time, but if you haven't received it by the time we pick up the car, please post it to the Ken Brown dealership of purchase, once it arrives from the DVLA.
If you need to rearrange your pick up less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, there will be a cancellation charge of £250. We’ll take this payment when you reschedule online.
^Drive Away Insurance
The offer of insurance is subject to eligibility and underwriting criteria. All cover is subject to the terms and conditions of the policy
Your Drive away Insurance will expire at 23:59 the day after the policy start date. However, it can be extended to up to 5 days if required.
