IMPORTANT COVID 19 UPDATE
At Ken Brown we are now returning to work and look forward to seeing you again. We have taken a number of measurers to protect both our customers and staff and I thought it would help to make you aware of these before you visit us:
Customers are encouraged to make a timed appointment to visit, this will help us control the number of people in our business at any time.
We respectfully request that customers do not visit us if they are showing any symptoms of COVID 19.
Where possible when visiting us there should be no more than 2 of you in your group.
Please ensure that you follow social distancing rules at all times, there are signs and floor markings to help when you visit the business.
In accordance with Government guidelines, we kindly ask that all customers, excluding exemptions* wear a face covering while visiting us.
As you walk in to the business there is a hand sanitisation station by the entrance for your use.
We are in the process of installing Perspex screens on all desks to act as an safety barrier between our staff and yourself.
All work stations/pens and PDQ machines are sanitised after each customer visit.
Vehicles touch points are wiped down with a disinfectant wipe after use by both customers and staff.
We are encouraging all customer to please pay by card or bank transfer to avoid the use of cash.
No tea/coffee or refreshments will be offered to customers at this stage, coffee machines will not be in use.
Customers are still welcome to take a test drive but due to social distancing rules this will now be unaccompanied. You will need to bring your driving licence and we will need you to leave your current vehicle keys with us. If you do not have a current vehicle this can still be arranged but please talk to a member of the sales team for more information.
All vehicle brochures have been removed, vehicle brochures are available on line.
COVID 19 is obviously a risk to us all, we believe we are doing all we can as a business to keep this risk to a minimum. We have conducted a full risk assessment for this and a copy of it can be viewed here if required.

In line with the latest Government announcement that face coverings are mandatory in supermarkets and shops which include car showrooms. We kindly ask that all customers, excluding exemptions wear a face covering while visiting us and we’re happy to provide one for you to wear during your visit. These will be available at reception should you enter the showroom without one, you will be asked to wear one. And remember social distancing is still in place, lets all remain 2m apart where possible.
With the uncertainty that the Covid-19 pandemic is creating for many of us, we wanted to reassure you that our team will support you where possible to help you remain mobile during this time.
Latest Update from Motability: Updated 30th June 2020
From the 1st of July, Motability have reopened applications for both new and existing Motability customers, you can place an application now if you wish. This means:
• If you are a new Motability customer, you can place your order (once you have completed your application with Motability)
• If you are an existing Motability customer who:
› has less than three months remaining on their lease you can place your order
› has already had a six-month extension on their motability lease, you can place your order
If your chosen car isn’t in stock it may well take longer to deliver than usual, so it may be worth considering an alternative similar car in stock. If your new car isn’t ready when you’re due to return your current car we will extend your lease to ensure you stay mobile.
