COVID 19 CUSTOMER UPDATE : 19th July 2021
From Monday 19th July, we will continue to follow Government Guidance regarding Covid restrictions.
Whilst we are excited about the prospect of getting back to normality, we are also aware of the continued risk of serving our customers within an indoor setting especially at a time when the daily rate of infection is rising so quickly. After a lot of thought and consideration we have decided, that for now we will continue with the measurers that we currently have in place to reduce the spread of infection and enhance the safety of our team and customers. We also have to try and limit the risk of having to reduce our service levels due to team members having to self-isolate.
Please keep wearing a face covering in our Showrooms
Although the legal requirement to wear a face covering in England ends on 19 July, the Government expects and recommends that businesses take the necessary measures to protect their customers and staff within an indoor setting.
So we’re encouraging both customers and staff to continue wearing face coverings if you can, we understand there are exemptions.
Please be assured that all of our previous safety measures are remaining in place, you’ll find sanitiser that is available on the sanitising stations at the entrances and on desks. The screens are staying as well. We’re keeping our one way systems in place and continuing to operate unaccompanied test drives. With regular cleaning of touchpoints to ensure that both you and our staff remain safe at all times.
We take this opportunity to thank our customers and staff who have helped to ensure that our businesses have remained Covid Secure over the last 18 months – keep well, stay safe.
Our click and collect services are also still available, meaning that if you would prefer, you can still make a purchase from the safety of your own home. Alongside this, we can still offer fully virtual appointments. Just let us know your preference.
Customers are encouraged to make a timed appointment to visit, this will help us control the number of people in our business at any time.
We respectfully request that customers do not visit us if they are showing any symptoms of COVID 19.
Where possible when visiting us there should be no more than 2 of you in your group
Please ensure that you follow social distancing rules at all times, there are signs and floor markings to help when you visit the business.
In accordance with Government guidelines, we kindly ask that all customers, excluding exemptions* wear a face covering while visiting us.
Our Staff are also now wearing face coverings when in customer facing areas
As you walk in to the business there is a hand sanitisation station by the entrance for your use.
We have installed Perspex screens on all desks to act as an safety barrier between our staff and yourself.
All work stations/pens and PDQ machines are sanitised after each customer visit.
› Touch points are wiped down with a disinfectant wipe after use by both customers and staff.
› We are encouraging all customer to please pay by card or bank transfer to avoid the use of cash.
› No tea/coffee or refreshments will be offered to customers at this stage, coffee machines will not be in use.
› COVID 19 is obviously a risk to us all, we believe we are doing all we can as a business to keep this risk to a minimum. We have conducted a full risk assessment for this and a copy of it can be viewed here if required.
