AUTUMN UPDATE FOR KIA LINE-UP

With summer now firmly in the rear-view mirror, Kia is introducing a series of updates across its award-winning line-up for the 2020 model year.

• Picanto

  - Integrated Stop & Go now fitted to all models with a manual gearbox
  - ‘1’ grade models receive a makeover thanks to new wheel trims
  
  The Picanto city car has come in for a pitstop and had its eco-credentials boosted thanks to the addition of Integrated Stop & Go (ISG) on all vehicles equipped with a manual gearbox. At the same time, the Picanto 1.0-litre now features four-seats, in place of the previous five-seat arrangement, and the entry-level model gets a style upgrade with a new design of wheel trims for the ‘1’ grade.

  ProCeed ‘GT-Line Lunar Edition’

  - The ‘GT-Line Lunar Edition’ is named after its exclusive Lunar Silver paintwork
  - Panoramic sunroof and LED bi-function headlights
  
  Following the success of the Ceed ‘GT-Line Lunar Edition’, similar special edition treatment has now been extended to the ProCeed, too. Available in showrooms now, the ProCeed ‘GT-Line Lunar Edition’ features classy premium Lunar Silver paintwork as standard, as well as a panoramic sunroof and beautifully intricate LED bi-function headlights. Fitted with the 138bhp 1.4-litre T-GDi engine with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT automatic gearbox, prices start at £25,340 for the manual and £26,840 for the automatic edition. You’ll find the same black cloth seat trim with faux leather bolsters with integrated ‘GT-Line’ logo and grey stitching that feature on the ‘GT-Line’ variants, in addition to a smart and sporty-looking leather D-cut steering wheel with contrasting grey stitching. Heated seats and steering wheel are also included, which are perfect for the traditional cool down in temperatures this autumn.

  Ceed upgrades

  - Upgrades to the satellite navigation system displays
  - Introduction of 12.3-inch Full Digital Cluster on ‘GT-Line S’ models
  - ADAP now fitted to Ceed ‘3’ Sportswagon models as standard
  
  The Ceed has come in for a technology boost for the 2020 model year, with upgrades to the satellite navigation system displays on all versions. A new 8.0-inch touchscreen display replaces the outgoing 7.0-inch unit, while a widescreen 10.25-inch unit takes the place of the 8.0-inch navigation display. The new UVO CONNECT telematics system is available with the 10.25-inch touchscreen and puts a raft of information at owners’ fingertips, including live traffic, weather, and parking availability.  And at the same time, ‘GT-Line S’ models gain a brand new 12.3-inch Full Digital Cluster. Ceed ‘3’ Sportwagon models now feature the Advanced Driving Assistance Pack (ADAP) as standard, which comprises of Forward Collision Alert with pedestrian detection, and on DCT versions the addition of Smart Cruise Control, Electronic Parking Brake, centre console with storage box and sliding armrest, as well as rear air ventilation.

  Sportage

  - 48-volt mild hybrid (MHEV) technology now standard on all diesel models
  
  Earlier in the year, 48-volt mild hybrid technology was added to selected models in the Sportage line-up, and this efficient new technology is being extended to all diesel variants in the model-range, from level ‘1’ to ‘GT-Line S’. The ground-breaking technology has the benefit of lowering both Vehicle Excise Duty and company car Benefit-in-Kind taxation, providing lower costs for both private and business motorists.

  Stinger

  - New ‘Blue Edition’ featuring 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine
  - Unique premium Electric Blue paintwork
  - Electronic controlled suspension and 19-inch alloy wheels standard
  
  A bright new addition to the Stinger line-up has just arrived in UK showrooms, powered by the 242bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Called the ‘Blue Edition’, it features all of the standard equipment normally associated with ‘GT-Line S’ models, with the addition of the eye-catching Electric Blue premium paintwork, 19-inch alloy wheels and electronic controlled suspension. Up until now, these two last features have been reserved for the flagship Stinger ‘GT S’, while the Electric Blue paintwork is also exclusive to this model. Priced at £37,375, the Stinger ‘Blue Edition’ represents a price premium of just £1,400 above the cost of the ‘GT-Line S’ model.
