From 25 October 2021, the Ultra Low Emission Zone is expanding

To help improve London's air quality the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) is expanding from central London up to, but not including, the North and South Circular roads. The central London ULEZ initiative has already proven to reduce harmful air pollutants by almost half across the city.  This new expansion comes into effect from 25 October 2021. 

• Most vehicles driving in the ULEZ must meet tight emission standards or pay a £12.50 daily charge when driving within the expanded ULEZ zone.

  The ULEZ operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year except Christmas Day (25 December).
