This exciting 2019 model year face-lift brings with it a raft of styling and technology upgrades.
Numerous international design awards prove how universally admired the cee'd is when it comes to style. Flashes of chrome surround the front grille and windows, matching the sparkle of the wheels. The projection headlights point sharply backwards, in the direction of the integrated rear spoiler and high LED brake light.
Interior enhancements include new steering wheels with revised styling and switches for a more premium look and feel. ‘GT-Line’ and ‘GT-Line S’ variants also feature a sporty new black leather upholstery with red piping and stitching.
Petrol options in the new Ceed include an updated version of the 118bhp 1.0-litre engine, plus a new 138bhp 1.4-litre which replaces the old model’s 1.6-litre petrol. There's also an entry-level non-turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol with 99bhp.
There's also a single 1.6-litre diesel aimed at drivers covering higher mileages. The new engine will be offered in 113bhp and 134bhp forms, and emits less than 110g/km of CO2. A six-speed manual gearbox will be standard, with a seven-speed automatic offered as an option on some models
