Face masks and coverings to be mandatory in car showrooms from 24 July. In line with Government guidance please wear a face mask when you visit Ken Brown

Starting from July 24th, the Govermnent has announced that it will now be mandatory to wear a face covering whenever entering a supermarket or store which includes car showrooms.

  • Those who fail to comply with the new rules will face a fine of up to £100, the government has announced.

The news comes as it was announced by Health and Social Care Secretary Matt Hancock, who made the statement about face coverings and the benefits they bring.

The idea is that face coverings bring confidence to those who are shopping, and to enhance shopping to fellow shoppers and staff alike.

Please be aware the new rule will not apply to retail staff working within the showroom, so don't be alarmed if our staff are not wearing a face covering.

In accordance with Government guidelines and to ensure the safety of all our customers and staff, we kindly ask that all customers, excluding exemptions* wear a face covering while visiting us and we’re happy to provide one for you to wear during your visit.

And remember social distancing is still in place, lets all remain 2m apart where possible and wash our hands at the hand sanitiser station.

Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.
