Owners were asked to rate their cars across 16 different criteria, from reliability and performance to appearance and running costs. They were also asked about their overall satisfaction with their car and how likely they would be to recommend it to others.
"The Hyundai TUCSON scored highly for luggage space, driving position and fuel economy. Owners commented on boot and passenger space, saying 'The amount of space, front, back and in the boot is very impressive, the air-con can be individually set and the console for music and media is brilliant."

The seamless integration of technology was a deliberate focal point for TUCSON, with an advanced and fully-customisable digital experience. This includes a fully digital, configurable dual cockpit, which consists of a new 10.25-inch open digital cluster and new 10.25-inch AVN-touch screen which fills the centre of the vehicle. Hyundai’s designers dispensed with physical switches and buttons. This means that all AVN, heat, ventilation and air conditioning functions are controlled via touch, making it the first Hyundai model to feature a full touchscreen console. The all-new TUCSON is also equipped with the latest version of Hyundai’s Bluelink® connected car services.
The all-new TUCSON is 20mm longer, 15mm wider, and the wheelbase is 10mm longer than the previous generation, making it more spacious than ever before. As a result, rear passengers enjoy 26mm of additional legroom. Meanwhile, boot space has been increased, offering up to 620 litres of luggage capacity with the seats up and up to 1,799 litres with the seats folded, depending on the trim and powertrain options. TUCSON offers plug-in hybrid, hybrid, and 48-volt gasoline and diesel mild hybrid options – the most diverse range of electrified powertrains in its class.
Further comfort-enhancing technologies include Multi-Air Mode which consists of a combination of direct and indirect air vents for air conditioning and heating to create a more pleasant indoor environment with more gentle air flow. The three-zone climate control now caters to passengers in the rear seats in addition to occupants in the front of the vehicle. Ventilated seats in the front and heated seats in the front and rear provide further comfort for the driver and passenger alike.
"Ultimately it’s the opinions of our customers that we must judge our success on, so it’s always enormously reassuring to see real-life evidence of our owners not only enjoying our cars, but also enthusing about them. TUCSON is packed with innovations and technologies designed to provide drivers with one of the most comprehensive packages in the SUV segment; stylish, practical, efficient, comfortable and fun to drive."
