Personal Contract Hire.
Personal Contract Hire (or PCH as it's known) is a funding product where you lease your vehicle for a fixed period and mileage, in return for a monthly rental. At the end of this period you are not responsible for the disposal, you simply return the car without further cost, providing it has not exceeded the agreed mileage and the condition is reflective of its age and mileage. There is no option to own the car at the end of the contact.
How does it work?
- You select your car and the number of initial rentals you would like to make (usually the equivalent to 3 or 6 monthly rental payments).
- You then decide how long you'd like the contract to run. This, along with an agreed annual mileage rate, will determine your monthly rental payment.
- At the end of your contract you simply hand the car back (subject to fair wear and tear and mileage). There is no option to own the car at the end.
What else do I need to know?
- All contracts include road fund licence, full manufacturer's warranty and the manufacturer's comprehensive breakdown cover.
- Your contract will be subject to a minimum period of 18 months.
- If you decide to return the car at the end of the contract and it has covered more miles than agreed, you will be required to pay a charge for excess mileage. In addition, if you have not kept the car in reasonable condition for its age and mileage you may be charged a refurbishment cost.
- Maintenance of the vehicle can be included in your monthly rental as an added option.
- You will not own the car and there is no option to purchase at the end of the contract. As with all our finance products, there are no arrangement or purchase fees.
- You select your car and the number of initial rentals you would like to make (usually the equivalent to 3 or 6 monthly rental payments).
Subject to availability at participating retailers on vehicle orders received between 01.10.2023 and 01.01.2024. All rentals include VAT.
Figures based on a non-maintained contract hire, 8,000 miles per year. Excess mileage of 9 pence per mile if you go over the contracted mileage. Fair wear and tear charges may apply. T&Cs apply. You will not own the vehicle. Subject to status. 18s or over.
