Motability, who is eligible?
You are eligible if you receive any of the following benefits:
- Higher Rate Mobility Component (HRMC)
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
- War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC of PIP)
However, the scheme is not simply limited to the driver. Claimant under 16-years-of-age, their parent, guardian or carer can qualify on their behalf. More information can be found on the Motability Scheme website.
